4150S Alloy Round
4150S Alloy is a medium-high carbon steel combined with chromium and molybdenum. The annealed form provides better machinability. In its hardened form, it offers both strength and toughness. Industry best practices suggest machining in the annealed form then heat treat to harden. 4150S alloy is used often in applications such as shafts, couplings, valves, axles, bolts, and drilling parts.
